the morning post has come and it has not yet arrived?? I sent off my passport to an embassy to get a visa for a country I'm visiting in one week. They posted it back to me yesterday by special delviery and gave me the tracking number over the phone. The post has already come but there is no passport.
Isn't Special Delivery supposed ot be guaranteed next day???

well it's 1pm and it still has not arrived so I'm now beginning tothink it has been stolen! God I hater the Royal Mail.....

If you have got the tracking number you can go onto Royal Mail's website and track it on there - it will up-date you on where your post is. Good luck.

I assume that it has been sent by royal mail or parcel force
get onto their web sit and type in the tracking number this should at least let you know where it is now
the same applies if it has been sent by another courier
if you need to talk to royal mail by phone , good luck , you will need it their telephone customer service leaves a lot to be desired
ps special delivery with royal mail is usually guaranteed 3 to 5 days unless they sent by Datapost

When u order a special delivery you can request that its delivered before 9 before 12 or just the next day

When I received my passport through special delivery it didn't come with my normal post, it came later by van. Hold on until a bit later and if it doesn't arrive then give them a ring.

Special delivery and next day are NOT the same service. Special delivery standard is a 48 hour service so you will prob get it tomorrow;

I had one delivered yesterday. It was supposed to be signed for, but the postman just put it through the letterbox like ordinary mail!

Special delivery can be delivered any time up to 1.00 pm and usually comes out with a different postman to your own.
I would wait and see if it arrives later. I've had them come at 12.55 with a flustered postman!
The tracking site should show you if it is out for delivery.
