It's been a few days so people should have calmed down by now. They will probably be grateful that you found her! You might even get an award!

Well, let's look at the question. You said your friend ran over an old lady. Then you said should we let the cops know.

That tells me one of two things. Either you was with your friend when he/she ran over her, or your friend ran over her and told you he/she did it.

What you should ask yourself is, If someone ran over me would I want someone to tell the police? I think you already know that answer. If it was an accident or on purpose now makes little difference. Your friend could be charged with Attempted Vehicular Homicide now. You could be charged with Accessory after the fact and/or With holding evidence. Neither one is good. It is possible that you could turn States evidence and get of with a slap on the wrist.

The lack of morality among the younger generation is mostly based on peer pressure. You should try to find better friends.

how do you know all that stuff if it was a hit and run? Horrible karma coming your way man. I think the ethical thing to do is to tell the cops...and then you have to apologize to the lady, and help her in any way you can to help her heal and feel better. At least do the latter.

Are you out of your mind. Did you know your friend will be in more trouble now for leaving the scene of an injury accident. You can also be held liable for her death, if she happens to die. Go to the polics before this escalates into something you both will regret.

Hmmmmm, already been a few days? Well, I guess it's too late now!!! I'd just duct tape her up give her a couple saltines and send her on her way..........not much more you can do for her at this point!

And I'd do it quick unless you want her hangin' with you all on New Year's Eve!!!

If you don't and they find out you knew you could be charged with the same crime as your friend plus extra charges for withholding information about a crime. Don't be an idiot. Do the right thing.

I am pretty sure you are trying to be funny and not being serious. The only way you would know what was wrong with her was if you had an X-ray machine with you (doubtful).
