OK, I have a personal question. I have been hearing recently that young men (say, under the age of 25) are starting to shave 'down there' - and I don't mean a trim - I mean, naked!! They've been told that 'women like it'. Being of a slightly older age I'd like to know if this is a recent trend that has passed me by!! Can anyone confirm or deny this rumour I've heard from my fellow older female friends....thanks

Oh thank the Lord for this trend. Great for hygiene purposes - and no such thing as it being for homosexual men only. What a lot of hogwash. The less hair down there the better. For goodness sake, this is the 21st century and we don't need loads of carpet down there to protect our privates from blimming bugs and stuff like the neanderthals might've. When you have shaved, it also makes your best friend look longer ;->

If I told you it makes "Butch" appear larger, well ..thats true, my wife is in the Adult Film Industry, and I asked her opinion and the appearance of a shaved pubic area has the same weight as a woman shaving her legs, why shave legs...we could point /counter point that as well, but she did say that sexually she felt that the person would be more in touch, sensually speaking, if the hair were well trimmed and manicured. Her last words were non- political as she said "The Bushes are out..baby...they stink ...and just like disco.....they ain't coming back..." Anyway...my wife likes the shaved thing and Rule #1 is "Do things that make your wife happy"..Rule #2 is ....see Rule #1.......nuff said

Yes and no. You need to shave it so it isn't prickly. Women may like the look, but the feel of stubble on their sensitive parts ain't so good.
I would suggest a bit of streamlining, but not a full-blown shave.

My hubbie and i are swingers (mature!) and yes it is true that some young and not so young men do remove all their pubic hair, and yes some women like it.

I personally definitely DO NOT. I like men hairy. Not like a burst mattress though, and a little tidy up is ok.

It all depends on personal preference.

Shaving is nasty! Imagine the friction when the stubble grows - you'd set her on fire! If you have to do this then it must be waxing! Personally I consider this trend for both men and women a bit odd - who wants to look at pre-pubescent looking privates? Weird!!!!

Erm, haven't come across this personally but I'd say try and see if you like it yourself! Be careful with the razor and exfoiliate your skin beforehand, this should help protect your skin from stubble rash. Don't put aftershave on though - ouch!!! :0

I've tried it a time to two. My wife and I have shaved each other. I asked a gay friend this queston and he said "Its a club thing". I believe this is a fad, just like body piercings.

I have no personal preference. It depends on the man. If he is really hairy all over, but has shaved that one particular area, it looks REALLY funny. If he is mostly smooth all over, it's fine if he shaves.
