Earlier I was asking what to do about a girl fancying my fella of six years - so I hope you same guys are still on??
My partner doesn't feel comfortable mixing work and private life - I can't just go to his office - he would hate that. Also, he hates public displays of affection. So how can I show we are close?
I am insecure here, I know!

I'm sorry to say this but the more I hear, the more I don't like it at all. You deserve to be treated right! Whats wrong with showing public affection, heck I see grandparents still showing each other affection in the streets, by simply holding hands. Make a list of the topics you wish to talk about and sit him down and have a good old heart to heart, really drill it intohim how you feel, otherwise this is gonna be how it is for the period of the marriage, however long it lasts. Do you really want that?

There should be trust in your relationship. I know we women have a tendency to be insecure (I am also like that) so the best solution is to (when you get the chance) sit down and speak out your mind and your insecurities. Make it known that you are uncomfortable with the current 'arrangement'. Work a solution. All the best.

OK so this is a man who doesn't want to get married, likes hanging around with some chick who hides from you, doesn't like you going to his office, and hates public displays of affection? Trust me I'm no one to point fingers, but please ask yourself, is this really what you want from a relationship? You don't need to be insecure. You know you deserve better than this kind of treatment.

Maybe you could send a card or present to his office or try and meet up once a week for lunch so that will give you an excuse for you to go to his office to meet him.
Sometimes you don't have to show you are close to everyone else you just have to know it yourself.

Emmmmmm its a hard one if you cant do this in front of her - your ideal opportunity was at the xmas party but thats gone now.
Only other thing I can think of is if shes something like a receptionist could you ring looking for him a bit more?? Leave messages for him like can she get him to ring his girlfriend that kinda thing?? Im stumped babes! Sorry!!!

I am not sure you should be feeling insecure at all...your fella if he really loves you will know just what to do to put this girl off....if not then he must be enjoying this attention from this girl.

Just drop by his office as a surprise... make friends with his colleagues... it would surprise u what kind of info u can get from colleagues....
If things just don't work... be sure u r better off without him...
