i think you're stuck with it til it fades, depends on the suction of the sucker as to how long it will last.... cover it with make-up or wear a polo-neck

This is what we used to do in college~ Take some ice and put it over the hickey. This helps slow the blood down so it doesn't get any darker. Keep the ice on it just like it was an injury. Find something round and flat that will cover up the hickey, like someone above me said, a spoon is good. We used to use the flat side of a large bottle cap, like one from a Mickey's bigmouth, or SoBe bottle. Alternate the ice with putting pressure on the hickey with the round/flat thing. This sometimes is easier to do if you have friends to help you. You have to be patient and persistant, and put up with the coldness of the ice making your skin numb. It may not completely get rid of the hickey, but will greatly lighten the color of it. This really works, I've seen it done several times.

Oh chuckle chuckle that's a great question! A hickey is basically a bruise so get the good old cold/frozen peas on to it as soon as possible. press it on for 10 minutes at a time, or as long as you can bear. Foundation is great for covering them up but won't get rid of them. Make sure you put foundation on your face and neck, so you don't just have big orange patches in the offending areas.
best of luck and JUST DON'T DO IT next time!

Use cosmetics. Otherwise, it takes a few days to fade away. If you're close to the "vampire bite" stage, it might take a week. Or you can put a bandage on the spot & tell everyone a bug bit you.

Or you can do as I did when I was a teenager. Wear it as a sign of honor...a badge of love!!

Some say putting a spoon in the freezer for a while and then putting it on the spot. It is supposed to help the blood that was brought to the skins surface move away

Time and prayer. Time will heal the hickey in a couple of days; prayer may help keep the one you're dating (who did NOT put the hickey there) from seeing it.

Put toothpaste on it as soon after as possible. This usually clears it pretty quickly. Or arnica for bruising.
