Are you serious? I won't leave my 4 year old daughter in the other room by herself for a half hour. You must not be aware of the dangers that your child faces by being home alone. Amongst the harm she could do to herself what if some one in your neighborhood found out she was home alone?
I think you should seriously reconsider parenthood. If you aren't willing to find some one who can take care of your child while you are not home you should not have children.

I think that you need to change daycare centres. That doesnt sound like the right environment for your child. Im not sure if your suggesting that your 3yr old daughter should be locked inside a house all by herself till you get home, but if you are the answer is NO. She's only 3! Its illegal. She could hurt herself in so many ways. Change daycare centres, maybe one that other children you know have been to and has a good reputation. Just dont leave your kid at that daycare and DONT leave her home alone.

She is in a bad situation at that daycare.
But, she would also be in a bad situation if you left her home alone.
Do you have a family member that can watch her for a few hours after school? A grandparent or a young niece that wouldn't be at work at that time? What about your neighbors? You said you would trust them to unlock your house for your daughter. Can one of them let her stay at their house until you get home?
A child that young can not take care of herself. The people that run her current daycare don't seem to be taking good care of her either. You need to look into a different daycare for your daughter.

Maybe you should show a little more effort and find a daycare that actually wants to take care of children, find a way for you to work different hours, or stop working altogether. To even suggest leaving your 3 year old (I like how you added the .5 to make it better) at home for even 5 minutes alone is ludicrous. You should call DFACS and let them know that you do not have the thought process to raise a child.

If you don't like your daycare, find a new one.
You can NOT lock a 3.5 year old in your house for several hours. It's child endangerment at the least you can have child services called and they can take your child. I don't know of any sane person who would agree to help lock your child in the house. If you do this, I hope your neighbors call CPS on you.
You could see if a neighbor will talk her for the afternoon.

Find a better daycare provider for your daughter. Even in the place where she is now she is coming to less harm than she could at home on her own.
Couldn't your neighbour look after her or you could hire a reputable babysitter?
DO NOT leave a 3.5 year old child in the house. She is not ven old enough to know what things she is doing could be dangerous or wrong.

You should have kept your legs closed! you sound like you fell from the stupid tree! You should not have kids if you can't take care of them properly or have the intelligence to know what is right or wrong since you obviously think it is ok to leave your child alone while you are at work. How about you look after your kid or give your child to someone who can take care of her. Give her a better life since you sound like a total MORON!

Never leave her alone. lt is traumatic for kids to be by their lonesome. They need constant attention. Look for a better daycare for her. Ask a trusted neighbor to look after her for a few hours and in return do them a favor.
All the best.

I don't know where you live, but if it is in the U.S. you will be charged with endangering and/or neglecting your child, and she could end up in a foster home (if you leave her in a house alone).
Aside from what she could get into, can you imagine what could happen if there were a fire?!! Suppose someone were to break into your house while she were in there?!!! (It happens.)
