Try and drink a pint of water when you get in or towards the end of the night in between drinks. Then eat on the way home or when you get in so it soaks up some of the alcohol. My advice for the morning after is to take headache tablets, chew chewing gum to ease the furry teeth, drink coke and eat some greasy food although I hear fruit is the best thing to have. Just make sure you drink lots of water throughout the day, theres nothing worse then the horrible brain shrinking feeling from a dehydrated headache!
Don't know why people on here have said don't drink, its just boring. The person asking the question obviously does as do the vast majority of people who have replied including me!

The easy answer is, 'Go on drinking.' (Avoid a hangover - stay drunk). I find a large glass of water before going to bed is the best remedy. Strange about red wine. I find over indulging with white wine will usually result in a hangover.

Never drink on an empty stomach..
Drink a good pint of water before you go to bed and eat a buttered crust if you can manage it.
When you first wake up take a spoonfull of vitamin c powder or tabs with orange juice and and a couple of pain killers.
have another hour in bed and you may not feel 100% but you should be able to cope

Pint or two of water before bed and bring one with you for the morning. Then when you get up have one of those effervescent vitamin tablets - one with vitamin C and the B vitamins like Berrocca or something cos these are the vitamins that alcohol leeches from the body. You should be right as rain after that, as long as you got enough sleep!

Water....lots of it! Orange juice is really good, too. If you know you have over indulged, a Tylenol before you go to bed could help. I'd also have some on my bedside table so I could take one as soon as I wake up.
If it's really, really bad, it could be alcohol poisoning. A trip to the doctors or ER for a gravol shot might be a good idea (because chances are if it's that bad you can't keep a little pill down!)

Yes Peanut, that sounds about right to me, that red wine can be a little bit naughty on the old brain cells, if its clear that's the gear! Merry Christmas.

3 tips,
1 drink loads of water (headache is caused by your brain shrivelling up and peeling away from your skull, through lack of hydration)
A greasy fry up in the mornin, Fatty enzymes break down any remaining alcohol, if you've been dancing (sweating a lot) then make sure you get plenty of salt to stop your joint aching
and sleep so your brain can repair itself, when you do wake up on sunday's at least watch UKTV history usually have the Blue planet or Planet Earth all day (great visuals)

A bag of hula hoops (original flavour) and a really cold diet coke and/or a banana milkshake.
If you can't manage that then try to eat a dry bit of wholemeal toast and a cup of hot tea. And obviously plenty of water.
