I don't know what to ask my boyfriend for christmas and he refuses to take the 'surprise me' answer because the last few things he was thinking about getting me i already had, or they were games i've already played/beaten.
I'm 19 years old. hobbies are art, photography and some gaming. I have a 50 dollar cap because we both decided not to excede that this year for gifts.

I'm very bad about asking for things because i was raised poor and learned not really want anything, so i have NO ideas.

I really wouldn't mind something sweet/corny/romantic from him but can't think of anything haha.
Any ideas would be great.
Please nothing sexual this is christmas afterall.

You seem very sweat! If you like art, a book of history of art
would be a good idea! Or a book with your favorite painter and his work! A CD with your favorite band or singer also would be nice!
If i knew you it would be easier!
Merry Christmas to you and your boyfriend!

Well you could ask him to make you a book or something on the history of your relationship. Like a scrapbook with pics and ticket stubs or receipts of all the stuff you have done, notes to each other, that sorta thing. You could also ask for gift cards because thats easy. Also, you can get really nice looking jewelery for cheap. Maybe a nice picture frame or album considering you are into photopgraphy.

Gift certificate to a store that you frequent? A book of coupons for.. romantic dinner, a tender hug, listening when you need it, a passionate kiss. Or you could take the 'cap' and go to the food pantry, or have him volunteer at a soup kitchen with you to help those who have not been able to be in better circumstances, as your present. That costs nothing but a little time.

Id never ask my wife what she wanted close to christmas.
I did that once, and got the, you should have been paying attention to what ive been saying I need all year. My wife doesnt like picking gifts for herself when you put her on the spot.

If you were raised poor you can appreciate, only what you need.
Or get better upgrades of essential items.

You should ask for a book which will tell u the ultimate Truth. It well tell u the purpose of your existence. Please ask for the authentic Bhagawad Gita. U may ask him to buy from www.krishna.com or your nearest ISKCON centre worldwide. To know the list of your nearest ISKCON centre, please visit www.iskcon.com
