The house is in the EXACT SAME Condition as when you left it -- no one to dump lots of dirty laundry in your laundry bucket, not having lots of dishes in the sink (after you already washed the rest before you left home that morning), not having someone always taking and never giving ... not having to clean the wee-wee off the walls/floors and everywhere else (EXCEPT in the toilet of course), knowing that no one will argue with you about chores (and you do not have to shoulder more than a double burden because he won't do anything), being able to SIT DOWN and choose what TV Channel/Show to watch (instead of having something shoved down your throat), and knowing that YOUR income is DEFINITELY just going to pay for the Bills that you have (and not a toy for the one who just won't contribute or work!).

To be really honest with you, there's always two sides to a coin. The good thing about being in relationship is having that special someone who you can share everything with: joy or sadness. The bad thing is you have to learn how to accept each other for just the way each of you are. Communication also includes mis-communications and verbal fights occur.
For singles, you don't have this responsibility or issue. But you also do not have this special bond to fill out the hole in your life. When loneliness strikes your heart, you just have to cope with it.
Anyway, I don't agree that being in a relationship means nothing to a guy. It all depends on whether the guy is ready to commit. I'm in a relationship right now and she means the world to me.
Well, I hope you have what's best for you. Take care!

Well there is a plus and minus to everything. Being single gives you the luxury of not making the same mistake twice, however it is wonderful to be in a commited relationship. Embrace being single who knows maybe one day you will fall in love. God has created that one special person for everyone. Until then you have the luxury of being single. Don't hurry don't get married until you are madly in love with that person! With that said Enjoy life and don't worry!

For a woman, everything, because they'll still get plenty of attention from guys throwing themselves at them anyway if they at least look somewhat decent. For a man, nothing, because they don't even get a "hi" of a smile from a girl unless we iniciate communication from the start, usually.
So basically girls can still have fun while being single, where as a single guy has a great lack of any form of action with the opposite sex....unless he looks like a movie star.

I am engaged, and have been with my fiance for over 2.5 years. I love him very much, but sometimes wish I had experienced the single life more. When single, you don't ever have to "ask permission" (meaning, "Do we have plans already?" or "Would it be okay if I went out partying the night before your parents' brunch?") to do what you want. You can be free to have fun flings with different people. You never have to worry about disappointing anyone but yourself. You don't have to worry about one person any more than anyone else.

i like being single because i get to hang out with whomever i want, whenever i want. and if i happen to meet a nice guy, i can go out with him whenever we please. and you don't have to deal with someone else's parents or feel like you're being judged. when i go to parties i can talk to whomever, whenever, and not worry that my guy is getting bored and wants to leave.
