I would recommend buying a book on the life of the Prophet (SAW) - unfortunately I have yet to find one that states facts objectively whilst still maintaining respect.
A google or yahoo search cannot be trusted in this case as there are numerous 'fake' Islam sites which twist words of the Quran and Hadith - its probably best to ask a scholar to recommend some sources. Let me know what you find!
(Asking a question such as yours in a medium like this tends to bring out the bigots who love spending time dissing people's beliefs - pay them no heed.)

When he was in his 20's he married a 40 year old woman. During his marriage some spiritual force claimed to be the Arch Angel Gabriel, yet he had a funny feeling it was Satan in disguise. He fallowed this demon's words because of the suggestion of his wife and his love for her.
