I'm thinking of asking this girl at my school on a date soon, but I don't have any money. Anybody know of a good date that doesn't drain the wallet?

Pizza is about the cheapest I can think of, and it isn't a bad date either. Who doesn't like pizza? And you get more conversation than you would at a movie too. Movies are fun, but you don't get to talk to the girl enough unless you do something afterward. If you can't afford pizza, I think you probably should not be dating. A pizza date can cost as little as $20. They don't get much cheaper than that son! Maybe McDonalds or something like that would be cheaper if there's one nearby. Taco Bell would be cheapest. And if the girl likes you, she won't mind doing stuff like that. Good night!

Well here are a few suggestions that do not require alot of cash.
1. You can take her to a park. If you know how to keep a decent conversation then this wil be a good date. Not too many thigns going on here so if your not talking then there's going to be a lot of awkard silence.
2. A restaurant. BBQs, Applebees, i dont know about Red Lobster, but a dinner for two will NOT cost more than twenty dollars.
3. Take her to a movie. Movie dates are cheap tix are 8-10 dollars depending on location. Do NOT buy cinema food. Either eat before or tell her your going to eat afterwards. There's always a fast-food restaurant near a cinema. Don't be ashamed to go to McDonalds, just keep her attention on you.
4. Ice Skating and Bowling are cheap. you can even take her to the skate Key if you don't like the ice.

In general take her to a place where she'll have fun. And if you know you don't have money, just wait until you do. It'll be better than taking her on a crappy date.

A picnic in the park is nice, but you could also go to the beach assuming you live near one. You can take her to a free concert in the park, or you could go to a museum or the zoo. The arcade is cheap too. In terms of money, since you didn't really say how much you can spend, the cheapest and best option may be to invite her to your house and rent a movie. You could order a pizza. Or even cheaper you can cook dinner for her if you know your way around the kitchen. But even if you do the pizza and the movie, should cost you about 20.00 and you don't have to feel bad for talking or kissing during the movie. If that is still too expensive see if you have a nature park near you where you can go walking on the trails. The admission at the one near me is about 2.50 a person and they have an alligator pit, snakes and birds and (groan) a library. If she is the outdoorsy type you could even consider fishing. I am not outdoorsy but I went fishing on a date once and had a blast, but do offer to bait her hook for her. In fact don't even offer. Just do it for her. She will be touched by your consideration Good luck on your date, hotstuff!

People keep saying a picnic, but it is freezing out... try a coffee date... starbucks isn't toooo expensive. Some coffee shops have open mic nights or musicians come in to play. That could be entertaining and relatively inexpensive.

Rather than ask for "a date", ask her to go on a walk or to the beach or perhaps on a picnic. The idea is to spend time together...at least to me... If it was me I'd also be excited about a trip to a museum or art gallery. Do you have special landmarks in your area? Take her to explore them.

Good luck!

Have her come over for a movie. Take a walk on the beach or a lake.

hiking is great... in the winter it's really fun on sunny days because you run uphill and slide downhill as fast as you can.

but i'm surrounded my mountains here, so it's a weekly occurence anyhow.

who said "the library?" ha ha ha ha ha. that actually sounds like a place i WOULD go on a date!
