No, that's a myth.
It only seems that shaved hair grows back thicker or coarser.. but it dosn't. the hair at the base is thicker than the hair at the end... so of course when the hair first starts to grow back after being shaven, it will look like it is thicker, but it's not. it will look the very same when it reaches the length it was before you shaved.

you should try this.......the brand Aveeno has a line of lotions for skin, and one of them, the light blue one (the bottles are color coded by type of lotion) actually works as it says.....it's not a hair removal cream, but if used everyday, after a month or so you start seeing results.....
i've been using it only my chest so far for about two months and the hair is considerably thinner, and much easier to shave..........
it`s no laser, but its more affordable in the meantime..........
the complete name is Aveeno, Positively Smooth Mosturizing Lotion, and since you're at it, you can also find an Aveeno shaving gel with the same name...........

Most Definitely! I had two guy friends do it on purpose because they wanted to be more manely & thought more chest hair was the way to achieve that. I laugh now 15 years later when they buy conditioner for their chest hair!! They tried waxing & it wasn't for them.
