exemple if a person has had tuberculosis there is a test to see if you came in contact with the desease or had it once before is it the same for dengue fever

Dengue is actually any one of four separate but related viruses. Theoretically, this means you could get it four times. Ick.

Being a virus, it would leave testable antibodies in your blood. You would be at least partially immune to the particular type you'd been exposed to. So, yes.

Apparently, some tests cannot differentiate between recent and non-recent exposure. Also, several other viruses such as West Nile and yellow fever may cause a false positive.
