I think ALL sexuality must be left out of school. People have forgotten why we all go to school. Not to find sexual partners but to become educated. The classroom is not a singles bar.

It really isn't clear what you're actually asking here, but homosexuality IS in schools. As many as 1 in 6 people are gay, which means in your average class at school there are probably 4 homosexuals. So like it or not, it is in schools.

The homophobia that exists in society is evident in the answers that have been given here thus far, so it is pretty obvious that people need educating about it. However, those who feel that strongly about homosexuality are usually the people who have questionable sexualities themselves.

As a happily married man, I do not have time to be so concerned with what other people are doing. I have my own life to keep me occupied, but the reality is, homosexuality exists, it always has, it always will and society really needs to educate itself. What harm does it do to other people when someone chooses to have a same sex relationship?

Much of this boils down to religion, and frankly, I would rather live with gay people than people who invest in the most widely sold piece of fiction ever published. At least gay people do not come to my door trying to convert me!

Wow kast, no need to get hostile on homosexuals. In school... there were very few, or at least few that came out of the closet. But there was that one guy that always wore high heeled shoes to school... Aside from that, a few of my acquaintances from high school came out later in life, after realizing that popularity and what other people thought about them didn't really matter.

I accept homosexuality. If there were creations of criminals and killers, why not homos??? I think homosexuality is becoming more widely acceptable, and therefore, schools will eventually be more inviting to these people, if that's what you are asking.

Idiots like you are the reason the world has so much violence. I don't want to watch two men kiss, but sexual preference is your choice. Not anybody's else. Nobody tells you what food, music, art, or pronography to like, so what business is it of yours what somebody's sexual preference is?
As for homosexuality in school, what exactly is your question? If it is ok to be openly gay in school? I think if it is ok to be a jock, cheerleader, nerd or punk, then its ok to be gay too.

What about homosexuality in school? You need to better phrase your question.

Also, to Dr. Harry Fingerman: Homophobia has no place in society.

hi! I, as someone who have been wearing uniforms for a very long term, have faith all colleges (all public colleges) would desire to positioned on uniforms. i think of faculty is approximately learning, insted of a thank you to look. i think it the two distracts, and takes efficient learning time faraway from young ones. whilst a instructor has to tell a pupil to "visit the place of work and alter" it takes away time from learning. additionally, it makes the school look extra constructive. whilst pupils from a school are seen dressing inappopropriatly, it makes the school look undesirable. additionally, in my opinion, i admire my uniform!!

is definitely frowned upon. though it may sound bad, keep it quiet until you graduate, it will make your years of school much easier. true, you may think that "i will be who i am, no matter what", but just wait until someone you don't like finds out, and then everyone that doesn't like you finds out, and then ridicules you, and then you feel bad, and embarrassed and stuff 'cause they bug you all the time. kids are brutal, adults are (generally) more accepting.

No thank you. I need to study when I'm at school. I wouldn'd mind some hetero at the movies. Perhaps you have a sister?
