There are no Chinese restaurants in China. Only restaurants! On the other hand, they have American Fast Food Joints, French Restaurants, Japanese Restaurants, etc.

The best authentic Chinese restaurant is in called Ma Ling and you will find it in the canned goods section of major super markets.

The four main cuisines of China are:
1.Cantonese, which is famous for the seafood, fresh water food and exotic dishes. Some of them made of fowls and snakes make Cantonese cuisine so special and exotic! i guess i'm answering this question for the 2 points, but when you are in china, you are eating authentic chinese food. if you want make believe chinese food, go to mcdonald's, pizza hut all over china.
