I have dated at least 3 guys in their 40's(i'm 22). My current bf is 42. Whenever i tell people his age or i say i like older men they give me a weird look or say 'what are you doing etc',it's like jeez is it such a big deal these days?look at Michael Douglas and Cath Zeta Jones. As long as we're happy why should it matter?

Look, whatever turns your crank, you shouldn't worry about what other people say or think, because it IS your life, not theirs. It's what makes YOU happy, not them!
Society works in weird ways, around 'stereotyping' that relationship preference, and it's sad to think that to some people, it's considered more "normal" to have the OLDER guy brag about being with a YOUNGER lady, and his friends may praise that, but if it were the other way around, the younger lady looks like she's the "unusual one" for being in that kind of relationship!
Don't let what anyone says bother you, though. Let it be THEIR garbage, NOT yours!
Let them deal with that information the way they need to! It's not yours to hang onto! Laugh it off and tell them that at least your boyfriend is more secure with himself as well as more "mature" than maybe your friends' boyfriends, who may still be in their early 20's!!!

In general, there is nothing wrong with getting a younger guy, MUCH LESS an older one! But somehow, try thinking of the reason you are choosing guys within this age range. Most girlfriends I know would tell me that an older man is more sensitive towards their needs, fair. Others say that it is the financial stability that makes these guys more dependable, also fair. If you like a person for who he is, there is no questions about the whole scenerio. But to choose a person for their age, is it just because they are OLDER????? Without any reasoning behind it? Just for the fun of it? As long as you know what you want, you do not need to bother what others say. As I always say, live your life, dun live others expectations

It's actually not at all uncommon for a younger girl to be attracted to older men. There's a certain security with someone who has their life well figured out, and even more a financial security. If you're really happy, then be happy :)

It symbolised the covonant between God and the Jews. Also the circumcision that was orriginally done by Abraham (first Jewish circumcision) they only removed the tip of the foreskin, not the whole thing like they do today. Jewish men at that time still had a majority if their foreskin. Whatever makes you happy. Older men are usually more established financially, are more mature and past the head games that younger men are more likely play, more likely to commit and less likely to be interested in one night stands or casual sex, and in my personal experience, really good in bed. Before any young men get insulted, the key word was usually. I personally can see why you like older men.

It's not that big a deal, it's what you are attracted to; people can look at you weird and say stuff but atleast you are finding people that make you happy. It's just a difference in taste.

There is nothing wrong with this if you are together, but if you are planning to marry or have kids, I think it will not be practical because he will be very old for kids and most probably your way of thinking will be different too. If you think it will be ok in long run, think again and do what you heart and mind says, and don’t bother what people say if you are happy.
