Go for it Hun....love is love and when you reach 40 you'll be goin' for younger men anyway.....give the guy a chance....he's nearly legal so what's it matter he is a year younger?!! stupid reason for not goin' after him....you'll regret it if you don't and you know it......

Reputation to keep? Keep up this good work and all you will get are the leftovers. When I was younger, I had always prefered older ladies, not too old by older, maybe 1 to 2 years older. The reason for this was that I find older women more matured, and I find them somehow exciting! And this is in Asia, where the society norm was that the guy is usually 5 to 7 years older! I learned a lot from these relationships, older ladies are more open and receptive to opinions and differing thoughts.
For your case, I would say just go ahead, the age difference would not amount much to a generation gap! Show some interest, and if he IS interested in you, his actions will somehow show. Just be a little more sensitive towards his actions, and you will know. Good luck

If you believe it is worth pursuing, than by all means go right ahead. The reason that many choose the older person is the maturity and the fact that they can have a decent conversation and have many things in common. Take these factors into account before you decide on the move. All the best.

Since he's almost 16 that would make you only a year older than him which isn't a big difference. Jut be aware that he probably isn't as mature as you. I'm kind in the same situation except I'm a 16 yar old girl who likes a 14 year old guy.

My high school girlfriend was just about a year older than me. We wound up staying together for 3 years, and had a lot of GREAT times. I'm sure glad she went for it.

I guess the point to what I'm saying is this: If you don't go for it, you'll always wonder, and when you get out of high school, and that kind of reputation doesn't mean much to you anymore, and you're sitting in your apartment on your couch, you'll only be left with a "what if" lingering over you.

It would seem that age is your primary concern and you are using his physical size and "almost 16 in a month or two" to justify the difference. In my opinion, this age difference (under 2 years) isn't anything significant. Assuming he really is nice, I say you should go for it.

I am a bit older than you! but my boyfriend is 3 years younger than me. Nothing wrong with an age difference!! You wouldn't think anything of you were younger than him! lol
