I dated someone whom I have so much respect for because I thought she was an angel. She said she is an evangelist in a Baptist church in South Jersey NJ. The only colored person in a black church -lol. Very well respected. Just found out she has been cheating on me the whole two years though I am very active sexually. Is this cool? Where are we placing the bible and morality?

Its not "cool" for anyone to cheat on anyone regardless of religion. Cheating can cause a lot of pain to both the cheater and the person being cheated on. I say can from experience that cheating can lead to a lot worse things. If your boyfriend were to find out about your man on the side, he might flip out and fight the other guy. Don't be greedy. One boyfriend/girlfriend is enough.

Sweetheart it ain't cool no matter what religion! I'm sorry you had to go through it though. But religion has got nothing to do with it. Don't let such things pull the wool over your eyes. If you said she's been cheating on you, then forget her.....she doesn't deserve you..... Repsected? Doesn't sound like it is deserved. There is no reason for someone to cheat their other half, but pure lust and disregard for the other. Especially in your case, where it has been going on for a while. She has been playing you like a fiddle my friend. Dump her, and find someone who actually cares for you.

The bible seems to have no place in society now. I am sorry, but only a few people amongst the crowd even try to follow their "beliefs" with any seriousness.

That just goes to show you. Never trust anyone who comes to you Bible in hand. They use religion to hide their flaws and think that a simple prayer for forgieness will sort things out. People like that generally feel nothing for anyone else. You should count yourself lucky you are rid of her.

The Bible has nothing to do with this. You expected a girl who breaks one rule of her church to have sex with you and then not break any other rule. If she is willing to have sex and claim that she is super-religious, then she is already untruthful. Move on.
