I'm going from Christmas day to New Years day on a cruise to several islands. I can't find much info on it so I'm thinking it's not possible. If you have a website to book reservations that would be awesome!

It is illegal to approach the dolphins in the Hawaiian waters, so it is very unlikely you will swim with them in the wild unless you are lucky enough to have them approach you!

There is a Dolphin Discovery Swim available at the Sea Life park on Oahu. It will run you $100-200 per person (depending on which package you chose) but you need to make reservations.

Check it out here http://www.sealifeparkhawaii.com/

The Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island also offers a Dolphin adventure program, but it is very hard to get availability. http://www.hiltonwaikoloavillage.com/activities/index.asp

Good luck and have fun!

The Hilton Waikoloa on the Big Island has dolphins but you have to book early and you don't really get to swim with them but just pet them and hug them and feed them. In other words you can be their caretaker for an hour. Not worth the price to me but kids love it.

Go to Maui on the west side and take up Snorkel Bob's. They are a great crew out of Lahaina that will take you to Molakai. It was simply the best you will find. You can scuba and snorkel with dolphins in the open ocean. You will not be disappointed.
