The problem is supply and demand. If America does not demand it, Mexico will not supply it. Its only a few illegals that do the transport. Most is done by Americans themselves.

Of course American's are buying it. Was that a question? The other peripheral issue is drug cartels. We buy it but they make it their business to ship it over. I would agree that most people immigrating into the US are not drug runners.

Illegal immigrants are an irrelevant factor in the prohibition of illicit substances. Illicit substances smuggled into the country by illegal aliens are consumed by people in the states - be they citizens, tourists, immigrants, or illegals. I'm sure all of them buy drugs.

The largest DOMESTIC cash crop in the united states ($35 billion) is marijuana. This is based on a calculated wholesale price of only $1600/lb, which is much less than the street-value. America's domestic marijuana habit is 10x what it was 25 years ago. The point of this is that the prohibitioin of drugs - be it alcohol, marijuana, or whatever - is a terrible fiscal and social policy.

no no no. see here i just watched a documentary on crystal meth. they clearly stated that the biggest source of transported drugs is from illegal aliens. your right.. if America stopped demanding the drug supply would go down quite a bit. but that just isn't going to happen. as much as illegals are corrupting America.. a huge chunk of Americans are doing just as much damage. its a sad fact. but i also think that if all the illegals were deported the drug rate in america would drop drastically. i don't think that those Americans deserve to live here. no criminal deserves to live here. that includes illegal aliens.

Our Drug Policy Doesnt need reform. Parents need the reform...Its a drug generation...Every other commercial is for hair loss, cholesterol, impotence, high BP drugs. Parents medicate their kids and claim ADD, when it comes down to the parent is too lazy from Vicodin, Paxil, Welbutrin, to do their job as a parent.

So when you are raised in a Drug Society, whats the big deal with some Meth, X, H or Ganja?

The word Illegal used to mean you were breaking the law. Now it means Mexicans who have expired Visa's or who crossed over illegally....

...Unfortunately, we have Drug dealers from every culture....

....Talk about REAL weapons of mass destruction!....especially the new Meth craze...it can really spell doom for our future. Agree?
