What do I do if there's a guy that I like and I think that he likes me to. But I have a baby so I'm scared to talk to him. When they call him up front he plays with my child and trys to talk to me but I turn red in the face and I can't get myself to say anything I go to where he works just to see him and he always ask me if I want help to the car with my groceries. But I always say no, even though I would like to talk to him but I'm a real shy person?
Just sitting here thinking about him is giving me butterflys.
I go to his work at 1 because I know thats when he gets back from lunch but like today I sat in my car until I seen him go in. I just can't get the guts to try to talk to him

Well this is your golden opportunity. Can't you see he's interested in you AND YOUR CHILD? When he asks to help you you don't say no; you say YES! Then you tell him you appreciate his kindness. Talk to him. Say anything. Tell him about your child. Mention the age or the name. Tell him who you are. Why do you see this as a "problem"? He's not some kind of foreign intruder. You've seen him enough times already and he knows who you are by now. You should feel somewhat comfortable around him by now. He even plays with the kid. You trust him there. How fantastic is that? He's trying to be your friend. Just let him.

Next time, he asks you if you need any help, put your head down as he knows you are already shy, take a big breath and when you lift up and look into his eyes, smile the biggest smile you have and say yes, yes yes and laugh. He will laugh too.

I know its hard but would you rather not talk to him, never know what could have been and regret it the rest of your life? or give it a shot? just say hi, ask him how his day is and maybe what hes upto later or on the weekend...good luck

Start out by asking him if he likes NASCAR, that ought to do it.

get something real heavy on your cart, say yes this time when he asks to take you to the car, then let him start the talking. won't get any easier then that.

try talking to him. when he offers help accept it. when he plays with your baby give him for some time and try to talk something.
