Stick a big bow on the top. Big enough to cover the whole thing!
That way, you dont need to wrap it! :o)

Or, you could put the gift into a box with gift tissue then wrap the box. Good luck! Merry Christmas!

Lay it on top of large sheet of wrapping paper. Now start folding the paper (will accordion/fan) towards the middle of the circulate and cut back the excess - taping the rest together; place a prepared bow over that middle - or don't cut and just tie a ribbon around the intersecting pieces and make a bow. Trim the pieces if it looks funny. I'm thinking small and flat circulate For something taller - you may need to tape several pieces of wrapping paper together to do this. For something long think fire cracker with ribbon on each end. There are always gift bags....

If you want to disguise what it is, wrap it to look like a toy drum. If it doesn't have to be a mystery, wrap it in several layers of tissue paper (to cover any lettering ),Then wrap it with cellophane, leaving several inches extending at either end. Gather each end , twist and secure with a ribbon. Do the same for the other end. It will look like a piece of candy.
