Yes, they certainly can.
It's not often mentioned openly, because males are deemed by the general public not to have breasts.
Breast cancer in males presents the same sort of problem as breast cancer in women with very small breasts -- the chances of being able to remove the cancer with a clear margin of breast tissue are limited. On the other hand, as with women who have limited breast development, the chances of the tumour being stimulated by high levels of estrogen are more limited.

YES. Its just not advertised. My ex's brother had breast cancer. The biggest male advocate of awareness of breast cancer in men is Richard Roundtree....you know him, he played The Shaft. Hes an actor and for years hid the fact that he had had a mastectomy due to breast cancer.

My brother actually had a breast cancer lump removed, yes it happens, more rare than females. Our mom had breast cancer as well. (my brother got his taken care of in time, my mom did not.) ANYONE should be aware of changes in tissue or lumps, and get them checked out right away if discovered. Men can also get fibrous tumors that are not cancerous.

If you remember the blaxpoitation films of the 70's than you know the movie charector of "SHAFT" - and Mr. Roundtree who starred in those movies had breast cancer - and he is an advocate for male breast cancer awareness.

Yes, they can. If suspected, a doctor should be seen as soon as possible. As with women, the sooner it's treated, the better the chances are of getting treatment before it's too advanced.

Yes they do. This was a subject that we covered in nursing school. It just isn't talked about as much as it should be. I've included a web site that should be able to give you more answers.
