An air filter will reduce power, not increase it. There will be a slight pressure loss of the intake air going through the filter. Engine designers take this into account, and a filter should be used to keep dirt out of the engine.

It won't increase your hp or speed. If the filter you are replacing was dirty, there is a good chance that you were making less hp than you expect, and that by getting back to "normal" with the new filter will put you back up to where the car should be.

And even if you get aggressive and go with some aftermarket filter or intake that promises more air flow, keep in mind this will only increase power if the air flow happens to be a bottle neck to the car's performance... but in an otherwise stock engine, it's highly unlikely that the engineers would leave something like this on the table.

Small plane have air cooled engines because they're lighter and a lot less complicated then water cooled engines. there is in spite of the undeniable fact that a diesel engine it extremely is for sale that does have water cooling. no longer particular why that is water cooled different then its makes for more beneficial engine temperature administration. the most engine cooling required is at low altitudes and severe potential placing at the same time as starting off up and hiking to altitude so the chilly of severe altitudes isn't obtainable for cooling.
