Is he Flirting?
Well.I went to sign up with a gym, and the trainer was kinda cute, I mean he was decent, and we talked for along time about health, and he made an appointment, and at the end of the conversation, he gave me his cell phone number in case I wanted to reschedule and told me that if I needed help with anything let him know....okay as an update, he called me liek a few days later, to remind me to come in, So I showed up, and we went through some exercises, and I told him that I couldn't really afford a trainer, and he's says he's going to give me sessions until I can, so then he asks me when can I come in and see him again, I said sometime the beggining of January, and he's like well, I'll give you free sessions, can you come in next week, and I was like okay, if it's free, and then he was like well you have me cell phone number..just in case..so do you think he was flirting or doing his job?Honestly? And is it against the law .

Not flirting but the early sign of falling in love with you,it seems that you are good-looking and sexy.

Personal trainers pretty much get paid like a subcontractor. Though the gym accepts payment some of the time, it is turned over to the trainer. He runs his sessions as he sees fit....they always give you their cell number so they can remind you and you can call if you have to cancel.......however, they don't usually give freebies....hmm, mine was hot, but I knew I was married too. Not anymore...damn time to sign up again. Yes, I think he was flirting. It could also be that when other people in the gym see him working with you that might get their attention, if will def get him more female clients......mine was always making me do more because it took a lot for me to get stressed...christ man, I was in good shape.....I didn't stress enough with ab work.....but omg, I am just good at keeping my composure and tend to look pretty good when I am working out.......damn I should have been single then!!!

No it's not against the law. Many people give their services for free to help others. I don't think he was flirting. I have a trainer and he gave me his cell and he calls me all the time. He even calls me if I don't go to the gym one day...He probably really likes his job and really wants to help you achieve your goals you have set for yourself...

against the law for free sessions? not even close lol

If he's going to give that much for free then he's either a) flirting or b) trying to entice you to spend money somewhere else. From what it sounds, yes he's flirting, but there's no way for anyone on the internet to say definatively

I'm sure you are cute as a button, and this is nothing against you, but it sounds like he was doing his job. Recruitment is a big part of a trainer's job, especially one that may be new and doesn't have an established clientele. Flirting is part of recruiting.

I think he's just doing his job. He is giving you free training to hook you into paying for it.
These trainers always are pushy in my experience. Calling the house, constantly seeking you out in the gym, etc.

Unless he says something about meeting outside thegym , then I have to say, he is just doing his job.

The Question isn't, is he flirting.

The Question should be,
Is my trainer in Love with me? Or is he just looking for a "good time"?
