Its just her preferred way of doing it. Just lie some people sip and some ppl gulp, its her way of sipping. My kitties do it ALL the time!

that is so cute isnt it? I know my kitty used to do that if i left the water running on the sink and she would climb up there and put her paw in the stream and lick it lol, but in her water bowl she would drink normally

I dont know why they do this sometimes, but its perfectly normal : ) The cat who lives at the animal hospital I work for figured out that he could he stick his paws through the cages of the recovering animals and nab there tasty wet food ; )

She's just unique. Some cats are paw drinkers. Most aren't. ITs nothing to be worried about.

Does she also drink water the usual way?
It might be that she is scared of water that is too hot or cold.
It might also be that she has a sore tooth.
It might be that the bowl is too high for her to get her face in.
Get a bowl with lower sides.

I have a cat that eats it food in a similar way she scoops up one piece of food in her paw and eats it. It's a personality thing.

My persian does this. It's just something some cats do. Just make sure you keep the water fresh and clean.

All cat's do there weird little thing.
That's perfectly normal for her to be doing.
I used to own a cat and she liked to lick the hose that came out of our sink....

my cat does that w/ he drinks milk. when he drinks water he likes to tip the bowl a lil' so he can drink it while its moving, he's crazy.
