You obviously know how to do it in person (contact a law enforcement officer or go to a local police station). However you can also file a police report online for non-emergency crimes:

If you want to contact your police force personally rather than online, find them via this website:

Cheers!

If you need to report a crime, then report it through Crimestoppers (UK) if you don't want to call the police. But if it is an emergency my advice is to call 999 and ask for the police.

Crimestoppers offer an reward leading to a conviction, it can be anything from £20 up to £500. You do not have to give your name or address as you will remain anonymous.

Here is the link for you to check out the website. Also try this link too for any information you may require.

this is the UK,the old bill don't investigate crime, all illegal immigrants,Can do what they want, but if your your British and was born here you have the full weight of the law down on you, what else can you expect from Blair, he is a illegal immigrant himself, and his government, are all Scottish.that's the real problem,so be care full who you are when you report crime in the UK,the law only works for people who have money, just look at the sale of planes to the middle east, cash for honers list,Blair's wife even tries to travel on trains without paying, then when stopped at the station the man who stopped her, ends up without a job,Blair's son gets drunk, and arrested, and let off,the queens cousin as to write an apology in the media for his behaviour, when he was picked up drunk, the list goes on,but i guess that's politics, and the power to be Free from prosecution, ten years from now Britain will be a Muslim state, but Blair and his Scottish scum will be in the USA ,that's what Blair is doing for Britain,so if your report a crime don't expect any help?

Does it not depend where one is (in the UK)...does it not. Read a wee magazine, based in Manchester once telling me if one lived in, say, Prestbury - deep in the heart of Cheshire with half both Manchester teams residing therein...and socio-economic ABC1 heaven, they'd be out from, say Alderley Edge or Macclesfield (home of the Macc Lads, bedamned) in minutes...but if you lived in Harpurhey (home of Bernard Manning) - 19 miles up the road, in North Manchester...things would be far different. To report a crime can result in perpetual pain for the reportee, as the police would be innundated with phone calls - and if it's found out one had 'grassed the criminals' up - it's hello local hospital for starters.

Call the police. Don't expect them to do anything about it though. From the things I've reported in the past a total of zero have been looked into. Apparently they don't like doing the paperwork on anything less than murder.
