Your kitten wants your attention. It is used to being with its family and it is now alone. Cuddle more often or let it out to roam around a little. Just check on it or watch it and if it needs to use the litterbox put it back in the room for a little while. I did the same about 7 months ago.

She/he not it wants some affection. Its just a baby so you need to hold her/him alot. And you really can't just leave the baby in the laundry room she/he will be afraid and lonely. You have to have her/him with you when your home. Only put the kitten in the room when your not home. And leave the door open and remind her/him where the litter box is if she/he has an accident in the main part of the house. She/he will not want to sleep out there alone, sometimes you can use a small clock under the bedding. It will remind them of the Mothers heartbeat.

i lately have been given a kitten it quite is basically 6 weeks previous. i replaced into in touch that she replaced into leaving her mom at the same time as she replaced into so youthful. My kitten is doing fantastic. the only reason I have been given her so early is via the fact if i did no longer get her then the owner might have basically given her away. the owner did no longer quite care that the kittens went to a good residing house. So if I hadn't picked her up then yet another proprietor might have taken her and taken care of her badly. Its basically relies upon on situations, yet I truthfully believe you. The kittens shouldn't possibly be leaving their mothers till finally they are 8 weeks previous.

A kitten is officially weaned at 12 weeks, and it's probably missing its mom. My kitten hated it when I put him in his room to go to bed, and he'd meow and meow...it drove me crazy! I say give him lots of toys and love. Spend more time with him, and let him walk around the house so it can adjust. (Make sure your house is kitten-proofed!)

Best wishes!

Meowing at the door means "Please let me out." If you don't the meowing will turn into scratching... (and the kitten clearly wants company)

Kittens are curious and it won't take long for your kitten to have control of your whole house. Let it explore.

And please don't keep the kitten closed in the laundry. The kitten is in new surroundings and will appreciate your company.

Open the laundry door and let the kitten come out and explore at its own pace.

She's probably just felt the cold air that seeps throu the door. They like cold air.

And yes, it's normal for them to meow. My Aunt's cats do that alot, and there 7 years old!

PS I'd try not to put your cat in the warsher, but I think a well lit dryer could be okay as long the door's open, and incase she falls out, padding infront of it ;P

Well it my be a cat but you got your self into it. Treat it like you own child. It's a BABY for crying out load wake up. You are now it's new mother. Also take it to a vet get it checked out and its shots. After all you are the mom now. Doctor visit are needed just like human babies. Also get a hand book on cats and kittens.

Domestic cats hate being alone. That's why pet stores suggest you buy kittens in pairs. Miss kitty will only become more local if you don't pay her more attention until she is used to you then she'll ignore you.

normally kittens are snuggled up next to their mother or their siblings for the first weeks of life... it is lonely and looking for its mother... it is used to being licked, etc.

you can't do much to keep it from meowing
