The reason I broke up with my first boyfriend was because he cared about me more than I do. Now we're on good terms and we always give each other hugs. The other day I was picking up my sister from school and he gave me a really big hug and squeezed me really tight. I don't know if guys mean it this way, but when I hug someone like that it means I really care about them. I don't know, could he still be in love with me?

I feel that he really cares about you, and yes probably still loves you, he's telling you by not saying a word. But you need to come to terms with yourself, Can you give back to him, If you can't, then he's being short changed, and everybody needs to be loved completely, don't you agree?

Um, I'm the huggy type but I like to hug cuz I like hugs and I feel fuzzy inside. I don't hug because I am in love with people. This is all your interpretation. He could give you a friendly hug. I don't do this as much unless people are my close friends because I get misconstrued. You say he liked you more and it was a one way street. Maybe he has feelings for you but you broke it off with him. Do you want him or not? Please hunny, don't lead him on...mind games and bull crap is not worth it...just be direct and ask yourself why you would break up with someone if like? his hugs and thinking he is still in love with you? Why would you ask this if you dumped him? Maybe he just misses you and respects you. You can't change feelings overnight. I feel bad for him!

I think he still likes you, but you don't like him! So don't dwell on it. Just don't linger in the hug. When he lets go so do you and if he holds on to long for your comfort then pull away from the hug. If you make him think any way you might still like him he may try to get with you again and you don't want to hurt him again do you?
