I want to be funny during conversation......what are lines to say.....know any websites that can teach me to be funny......i look at Canon Obrian on tv and he naturally comes up with funny lines.
Don't say 'be yourself, it will come naturally'

thanks

Sorry to disappoint you but you really can't learn to be funny. I think that people with good senses of humor and comedic skills have predisposed personalities that make them that way. There is nothing less funny and more annoying than someone trying to be funny humor comes easy to those who are truly funny, you can practice and get funnier( like standup comedians) but that is someone is already funny in everyday life. The only advice that I can give is DO NOT force it. If you're funny it will naturally come out

Some people are not meant to be the life of the conversation. Maybe you are meant to be an observer. I would not tell you to be yourself, because if you are asking for a website to memorize funny lines, you obviously dont have the funny gene. Lay back in the cut and enjoy the company of others. Don't try too hard, it will only make the fact that you are not that cool. You will eventually settle into your own style.

Learn to make people laugh in general health? Hmm....I guess there could be a connection.
The Bible does say in Proverbs 17:22 "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."
and "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;" from Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
Timing is important. It's not always appropriate to laugh you see. If it pollutes the air with profanity, it's not funny. Also remember that we will all account for every idle word. Make sure it builds people up kind of like Zig Zigler does.

This probably won't help and I'm sorry....The people who try to be funny tend to be the ones that are the most annoying. Being funny is just easier for some people.
