When I was pregnant with my son I had a "shorter " period for the first 3 months. My doctor told me that though it isn't "normal" it does happen quite a lot. I've heard of women spotting for the entire nine months. If you think you are pregant and your periods have been different call you doctor....

actually yes my whole female family has there period while they are pregnant but there period stops at about 3 -5 months into pregnancy.

It's rare, but it can happen. It usually happens at the beginning of the pregnancy. Like, if you just got pregnant but were suppose to have your period, but it's not normal. So if you are experience bleeding outside of this context than you need to see a doctor.
