no idea about anime - but send her an anonymous gift. let her wonder for a couple of days - it'll drive her crazy wondering who it could possibly be from.
Then a couple of days after christmas ask her if she liked the gift. For one - you'll have relieved her curious mind PLUS she'll be grateful for the kickass gift. Not a bad start........

Yes, it is b/c if you guys hit it off you could celebrate it every christmas. I'm not too familiar with anime but you could always purchase a gift certifcate so she could buy the kind that she likes. Good luck.

Oh c'mon christmas IS the best time to tell her how you feel. the nxt chance would be at new yrs eve after that it would be valentines but i personally think its christmas, cos i'm sure you dont want to wait that long. have you seen this british movie called "Love Actually". I STRONGLY recommend you should watch this movie. this character, peter (don't know his real name), proposes to kiera knightly on christmas eve and the way he did is was just too sweet. one of my friend's is also planning of doing the same thing and i suggest you should too. there is no way she's gonna say no to something as sweet as that. Watch the movie!!!

Never tell a girl you like her until you are dating. You can tell her you wanna take her out sometime. Immediately follow that with "How does _____ sound on ___day?"
And I would not get a big or expensive gift for her unless you've been dating. You'll scare her off.

I think it would be sweet to tell her during this time of year. Maybe you should find out what kind of anime (romance, sci-fi, action.......) she likes and get her a DVD movie or collection, which ever is available.

i had an idea for u...why dont u buy a fluffy heart and a card..pack it and write in the card...for the anime part, i as an anime lover myself suggest that u should know what anime she liked the most...based on that, find u'r present for her, kay??
