Could you ask financial aid to take money from next semester, including loans, grants, to pay for something for this semester. I know they would have to review your file but is this possible did anyone ever try?

Ask your financial aid officer.

Most probably not. But, if you've had some unexpected bills to pay this semester...like medical bills, car repairs, etc., your financial aid officer may be able to change your level of eligibility based on those expenses, and get you more aid. I've seen students do this LOTS of times, and it's worked for them. Call your financial aid officer directly if you want to try this. Good luck!!!

Normally no. But if you got it approved earlier and could not collect it, it is permitted. Never for a past semester applied later.
