Is it the whole "naughty nurse" fantasy, or just that nursing is a highly respected career?

It's an admirable profession because you're helping people. Generally compassionate career.
And it's a fantasy.

I think it's both. I'm in my last semester of nursing school now, and I'm an aide. I think there's a connection of you taking care of the guy too. A nurse is a loving, caring , giving person. In the end, that's what a guy will be looking to get serious with. But I'm sure the bragging to the buddies about being with a nurse doesn't hurt either.

Both, in the insight, everybody who has come across a good nurse will see them in high spirits. Nurses are loved by not only their patients but also their relatives, mostly becoz they nurse the patients male or female very intimately and that's their nature of duty.
Seeing a nurse in sexual perspective is not alien, they are seen in such a perspective because nurses are seen as being independent up to a great extant. The nurse-doctor stories are common, and the nurse patient or the nurse and patient's relative stories are mostly fantasy (I guess).
I'd like to know your views.

i find nurses sexy because of the uniform (even tho a lot of them just wear these baggy scrub things nowadays) the white dress and hat is the real sexy outfit! also nurses always seem so competent and smart and compassionate plus they always look so clean and competent/.....and smell really good.....i firmly believe that the presence of a good,sexy nurse is really responsible for a lot of fast recoveries--does a guy just as much good as the medicine or the doctor does. Where would we be without nurses!?

i almost married a nurse.not becus of the naughty nurse mumbo jumbo but nurses are very nurturing,they can really take good care of their men.Unless u r in it for the money.They have a good heart filled with compasson for other people.There was once a bachelor show on TV and a nurse was one of the 'loretes and i picked the nurse from texas to win on the first day and she did.i wish i married my nurse ex.g/f.Long story dont even ask.

I think that maybe it is because if you have the right job, you make more money than half those guys and they are looking for a sugar mama.....and for the other half of those men, yah its that naughty nurse fairy tale. Maybe one percent of men see anything as highly respected.

im a nurse too and they tell me scrubs are sexy and also i think its the naughty nurse fantasy and the thought of "playing doctor" guys are so weird sometimes.

Women and men in uniform are sexy. However, I have to be honest, most of the nurses I've ever seen when at the doctor/hospital are usually over weight and rough as hell looking.
That's the reality.
