a really good dessert that would go with anything is ooy gooy cake, preheat oven to 350, with electric beater mix a box of yellow cake mix, 1 stick of melted butter and 1 egg until it forms into a ball, press into bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 pan. for filling beat 8 oz room temp cream cheese until fluffy, add 1 stick melted butter, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla beat well, add 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar beat well again. pour over top of crust. bake for 45 min or until top is browned and middle still jiggles a bit. cool for 30 minutes and then you can eat, it's very good and very sweet

It's been a long time since anyone has had this,
Cherries jubilee with ice cream

1 can (16-ounce) cherry pie filling
1/2 cup brandy
Good quality vanilla ice cream

In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat cherries. In another small saucepan, heat brandy (it won't flame unless it is heated).

Spoon ice cream into goblets and spoon heated cherries over ice cream. Pour heated brandy over the warm cherries and ignite.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Good old chocolate mousse...light and very tasty, nice after a meal such as you are serving, pasta with meat sauce is filling and heavy.

for dessert you can try my chocolate tower. if you love chocolate.

its simple

1 box of chocolate cake mix
2 box of chocolate jello pudding
1 tub of cool whip
1 package of butter finger or heath bars (whatever candy bar you love)

bake cake as normal. when cooled crumble cake in the bottom of a bowl, layer with pudding, whip cream, and candy. repeat

u will however need a good size bowl for this. but it is so amazing. i got the recipe a while back from my captain's wife.

CHOCOLATE!!

1 BOX MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 SMALL CAN SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
1/2 JAR MRS RICHARDSONS BUTTERSCOTCH CARAMEL FUDGE ICE CREAM TOPPING
1 SMALL TUB COOL WHIP
2 HEATH BARS, CRUSHED

Bake cake as directed on box. Immediatly upon removing cake from over poke holes all over with the handle of a wooden spoon. Pour entire can of sweetened condensed milk over holes. Spread 1/2 the jar of ice cream topping over cake (will get messy). Refrigerate 1 hour.
When cool, spread cool whip over top, sprinkle heath bars over cool whip. Cake must be refrigerated.
* If you can't find the Mrs. Richardsons ice cream topping...you can mix caramel, butterscotch and fudge toppings together.

Water. Never want to get caught out in the desert without an ample supply of water.

OH! you meant dessert? I personally like cake!
