My cheeks are red. Is there anything I can do to distract from it or cover it up some way?

Are you sure it's rosacea? Did a doctor diagnose you with this?
Have you ever been checked for Lupus because Lupus can also give you that red appearance on your cheeks and the bridge of your nose.

There are medications out for rosacea. Some internal, some topical lotions. I would see a dermatologist to treat the condition first rather than trying to cover it up.

Dermablend is a cosmetic that is used for people with scars, etc .It can be found in stores like Macys, etc.

Good luck.
Also if you do have rosacea, you should avoid alcohol, since alcohol can dialate blood vessels and the redness will appear worse. Also avoid hot and spicy foods.

Yes,

First avoid things that worsen the flushing of rosacea. Sure, alcohol is a big cause. But, other things that cause flushing, such as caffeine, exercise, and hot sauce are also bad.

Second, the small pimples can be treated with a prescription antibiotic cream that a dermatologist can prescribe. The small blood vessels can also be treated by a dermatologist.

The following is good info from the national rosacea society. The link jumps straight to a pamphlet called "coping with rosacea" which gives a lot of helpful ideas.

Are you sure that you have rosacea? There are other conditions that promote an unusual redness in your face. Alcohol is one of them and being really healthy is another. If it is rosacea find the web site for medical and then skin conditions rosacea should come up on there but there is a real cure at the dermatologist office and its brand new. Sorry I can't be of any further help. Good Luck James.
