I am going to my parent's house. I'm making my Brandy Pear Carmel Bundt Cake and I'm bringing cinnamon ice cream to go with it. It's really good.
My mom is making Roast Beast, Cheesy Onion Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole. My sister Allie is bringing baked Brie with apricot sauce. My sister Sarah is bringing Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. My brother Nick's fiancee Theresa is brining Sour Dough Rolls. My brother Chris is responsible for bringing the beverages which means we will probably be drinking Miller Lite (he's a senior in college) I think I'll bring a bottle or two of Asti Spumanti and some Welch's Sparkling Grape Juice.
I'm not Christian but I really enjoy celebrating good times with my family, My sister made a big deal about it now that I am out as a Wiccan. But she'll get over it once she tries the cake and has a glass or two of champagne.

No, got a ton of last minute shopping! Will be buying lots of gift cards! Hard to know what to buy for some people! Very stressful season! My mother in law is coming! Oh man, am I gonna have a pain in the backside or what? Yikes! She is never happy! Wonder where my wife gets her sweet disposition? Can't be from her mom! The house will be swarming with tons of relatives and they will stay a bit too long for my taste.That is all I will say for now! Getting a big pain where I am sitting! I just have to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season! I will try to forget my mother in law is on her way over as we speak and does not leave til after New Years! Feel and lot better after I spike the egg nog!

I am as ready as I am ever going to be.
My family is staying at home this year. Usually we visit some aunts and uncles in another state but this year my mom is not feeling up to traveling. This is fine by me.

staying home with the family....we are having a sort of family reunion, although it is not really because of christmas(i 'm not christian, i'm a muslim)..But still, A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to all our christian friends out there.....
