Jacob received the birthright from Isaac by lying. And ever since then the older has served the younger just like the Bible said. I think this means that they will continue to fight until Jesus comes again no matter what peace plan they try to make. The Bible describes the relationship between the nations in Gen. and prophesies that one would always live by the sword and be nomadic. I think that describes the situation quite well. What do you think?

Punter is this what you wanted me to read?

1659 - Ibn 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: You will fight against the Jews and you will kill them until even a stone will say: Come here, Muslim, there is a Jew (hiding himself behind me); kill him.

1660 - Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The Last Hour will not come until the Muslims fight against the Jews and the Muslims will kill them until the Jews will hide themselves behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say: Muslim, the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the Gharqad tree will not say this, for it is the tree of the Jews.
I do not want to come towards Islam if this is what it preaches. I see this violent attitude stemming from jealousy over possessing Palestine. I think these verses demonstrate who is really behind these writings.

Yes, but not based on your quotes. The primary issue on the ground is Isaac and Ishmael; not Jacob and Isaac.

I personally believe that mankind will always fight amongst ourselves due to limited resources and conflicting ideologies. The fact that the Western World is so involved in the conflict between those two peoples will further their resistance to peace. A kind of "How dare you stick your nose where it doesn't belong!" mentality.
The Bible does make allot of references of continuing warfare between the Israelites and Arabs. Which is sad since like Cain and Abel these peoples are actually brothers (in a figurative and literal genealogy sense).
Peace between nations is a nice idea, but not a realistic one. Only if man can find a way to have limitless resources, tolerance, and forgiven the past; there will be peace.

The only time they will be at peace is when Muslims run out of arms, and then peace will reign long enough for Muslims to re-arm.
The below Koran verse is just a sample of what Muslim people think of Jews and Christians.
At-Tauba (The Repentance)

9:30 AND THE JEWS say, "Ezra is God's son," while the Christians say, "The Christ is God's son." Such are the sayings which they utter with their mouths, following in spirit assertions made in earlier times by people who denied the truth! [44] [They deserve the imprecation:] "May God destroy them!" [45] How perverted are their minds! [46]

That's prophecy made by Muhammad concerning of the final battle between the muslim army and the army of the Anti-christ.
It is mentioned that the army of the Anti-christ consists of 70,000 jews wearing persian shawls and that hadith that you quoted above is refering to that
anti-christ's army, not the good and innocent jewish civilians !!!..

Only an insane muslims will kill an innocent Jewish civilian... By the way, today we can see there are 1.3 billion jews all over the world and it is madness for muslims to destroy all these 1.3 billion jewish people..
It is just madness !!!

Many bloody idiot Palestinian preachers of hatred or Extremist have misused and quoted this prophecy in Sahih Bukhari by advocating Palestinians to kill jews. I have watched the video in youtube about thsi stuff and I can tell you that they were bunches of liars.

By the way, there's another prophecy concerning that one day MANY JEWS WILL REVERT TO ISLAM when the Mahdi comes and declare the truth from the tablets of the law of Moses when he discovered the Ark of the Covenant while the remaining 70,000 wil be the army of the anti-christ .

I don't understand why today's arab and muslim hated jews very much. It is not the question about isaac or Ishmael. It is question about ego and arrogance.Rember history have prove a very good fact that these arabs used to co-operated with the children of Issac. Do remember that Islamic civilization and its contribution didn't just sprang out like that. It is the good tolerance and co-operation that is shown by the chidren of abraham between the maimonide jews and the arab muslims that has contributed a lot to the wolrd in terms of ivention and knowledge explosion and during that time the so-called western civilization are still in the dark ages , even they don't have soap to wash themsleves, not long until the crusades came and they keep contact with the arabs.

So there's no reason for us to hate jews. Instead, they our bretherns taht we should respect.

By the way,

Not all jews called Uzair (Ezra) the "son of god".True Torah Jews don't believe that. It was the Kara'ite jewish sect in Medinah who said so that during the time of Muhammad. So I call upon muslims to stop applying that prophecy to "peace-loving and innocent civilian jews and devouted G-d fearing jews".
Instead of hating them, let's respect and show mercy and kidness to them.

The prophecy only fits well with the godless political Zionism wether is Christian Zionism or jeiwsh Zionism...

All arabic nations are from the lineage of Ishmael, Abrahams son by Sara's hand maiden, Hagar. He was not the son God had promised him. He was the product of Abraham's and Sara's intellect. Issac was the son of the promise, from whom all of the Hebrew nation came. There was bitterness between Hagar and Sara, and between the 2 boys. It has been going on since that time, is still going on, and will continue to go on. The Arabs want the nation of Israel wiped out, and will not stop fighting with them until then. According to the Bible, it ain't gonna happen.

Kudos for knowing the Bible. Now, let's put a splash of pragmatism here. Many, no wait, ALL the stories in the Bible are attempts to explain the world the author's lived in as experienced through their faith.

So, do you think the Bible *predicted* this or do you think the struggle pre-dates the Bible and was reflected in the stories?

sorry to answer your question with a question.

Yes, i think they will not stop killing each, other.

I think that if God were to speak he would say to Islam and Israel, If both of you wicked children of the state will either choose PEACE or I will destroy you both. of course he has already said that he will destroy both and leave only a remnant. Those that are destroyed will be ashes under the feet of the meek and the holy.

They fight, because Zionist Israeli's take Palestinian land, and Israel can't stop it without fracturing their own country.

Palestine fights because Islamo-fascists have weapons and explosives and like to kill innocent Israelis, because they believe they should take back the entire area.

Palestinians are oppressed from inside and outside. Israelis seem to prefer only oppression from Palestinians.

Is that what you said? Or not.

Simply put, YES! Ideologies and cultural practices are to different to find common ground. Sometimes when you fight for so long, that's the only way of life you come to understand even if it is self-destructive.

Yes....the Old Testament says so. Because the Jews disobeyed God the Philistines (Palestine) will remain a "thorn in their side".

You are right when you say, "until Jesus comes back".
