The standard is 1/2 ounce for each pound you weigh, so you aren't drinking enough. Be sure to include all beverages other than alcohol-even caffeinated ones count. You can be significantly dehydrated without feeling thirsty, especially if your body is accustomed to this low fluid intake but your kidneys pay the price. Please try to take in more fluid and take care of yourself.

No, the average person should drink 8 8oz glasses of water throughout the course of a day. That amounts to 64 oz, or more than double what you are drinking. There is a condition known as chronic dehydration, which can lead to a myriad of problems. The sensation of thirst is actually a sign of dehydration, so you really should be drinking water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty.

As long as you aren't drinking soda or coffee along with it.
Ideally you should drink about 36-40 ounces a day, and then for every soda, add an equal amount of water.
Water helps your body detoxify. Helps push through he impurities and toxins.
You are drinking more than some people I know, however!
I like to put in a bag of decaf organic green tea to my bottled water. That way I get my antioxidants and water all at once, and it tastes better.

I have trouble drinking water while I am working, actually I don't usually have much to drink of anything while at work. I know you should drink more water and stuff but if you can't don't worry about it try and drink it when you can.
