im very recently single (out of a year and a half relationship) and started hooking up with this guy last weekend. we've seen each other twice since then. we've talked about going out and we both want to but nothing else has been said. im not sure whether he's just giving me a bit of time or something but im just curious about what i should do next as i havent been single for a while???

Well, I would recommend staying single for awhile. I wouldn't rush into a relationship so close to ending one. He may think you are on the rebound and may think that you NEED to be with someone. I would just wade it out and see where things take you with this guy. Maybe things will just work themselves out and you will end up "going out".
Trust me, I've learned from experience and the guy I dated thought that I was too "clingy" cuz I started dating him not that long after ending a relationship and thought that I needed a man in my life when really it was that I just wanted to date him.

I know it may seem tough at the moment, but if it's only been a few days, just wait. It's also the holidays and things are really hectic for many people. They may just be out doing some last minute things. It would be helpful to know if you are the guy or girl. If you are the guy - let her know you're interested. If you're the girl, give it another couple of days. Then, give them a call and see if you could grab coffee or something.

Ok same thing happened. Next thing I knew I was doing most of the chasing and then he ended up breaking up with me cuz of some stupid reason. NEVER chase a guy, and never make them your priority because they will just break your heart. Let him call you and decide.

if i were you i would just go for it he might find someone else soon since you only dated him for only a week. so just go get his number, ask him out, get his email address or something soon!
