I use the Biore strips sometimes, particularly the ones for the nose, they help with blackheads. They work better if you wash your face first. Then make sure you don't overwet them when you stick the strip on. Let it dry completely, till it feels like a cast, kind of, on your nose. Then peel it off slowly and firmly. You will usually be able to see the little bits of "dirt" that it removes from your pores as little dots on the removed strip. Blackheads pretty much always come back, but they can be reduced with proper skin care. Washing your face in the morning and at night; always removing make-up/washing face instead of just going to sleep with it on. Microdermabrasion (doesn't have to be at a facialist or anything, there are some safe and good at-home versions) on the nose one to three times a week can also help.

Most likely, those are blackheads you didn't know you had. That's what the strips are supposed to do. Now, just apply a cool, gentle astringent with a cotton ball to the open pores, or cool water, which will help the pores close up, so they won't look like little open holes anymore. Do this about once a week, and your pores should stay unclogged.

You're actually lucky - those strips don't work on me at all.

Clogged pores are merely areas where your skin breathes that becomes clogged with oil and dirt particles. So, here's the trick, Use a good toner! Close those puppies up. If you buy nothing else for your face buy a GOOD TONER. Wash or cream your face clean, splash with cold water and then use the toner. Just cold water won't continue to close the pores up. So, Good Luck Miss Beauty!

They won't clog if you do one simple thing daily. Use a little witch hazel after washing your face. It is inexpensive and prevents you from getting clogged pores.

Hi

They are awesome!

Yup, they take the junk out of your pores..but it leaves them open for a while. What I do is..put seabreeze or rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and dab the open areas..so it dries up....seems to work....

good luck!
