the only people who do the "friends with benefits" thing are those who are desperate for some booty with no strings attached. it's kinda sad that someone would put themself in that position tho. it's a waste of your mind body and soul. for all of you out there that has done the FWB thing i feel bad for you. you could be with someone who really loves you for you and not just for your body.

a lot more people than just "little girls" buy into it... everybody wants sex but some people don't want all the hassle of relationships... so then they just find friends who feel the same way... it's not that they aren't good enough for anything more, they just wanna have sex. A lot of women have better things to think about than relationships and the "perfect" guy and all that crap... they just want to get off! Let them, it doesn't hurt you.

Some sex starved person with no dignity and no respect for themselves, who also has no respect for anyone else.
A small number of the people I know have what they cal; "f*** buddies" It's just a booty call, that's all it is. I went to college with a guy who said "I have sex with all my friends", so I decided I didn't want to become one of his friends. Guys and girls just do it so they can have a ready to go harem of booty to dip into whenever they have the urge.
These people are looking for people to control, have their fun with and then throw them away when the thrill of the chase is gone or when they are no longer fun anymore. Then they move on to the next one.
Or, they cheat on their long term partner, but it's not really cheating, because its just their "friend", but they still shag anyway.
My thoughts - if you just want a booty call, go out to a club or a bar and have a one night stand. or pay for it. Cos that's all it is, hollow empty physical experience with zero emotion. If they think they are still friends after that, they are kidding themselves.

Who made up the term? Naturally a man did.....
Why do females buy into it? Trying to keep the guy around with the hopes that it will turn into something more committed. I had one of those offers recently from a dude....he can keep his offer...I respect myself more than that.

A man that wanted to have sex without having to commit to the person or be in a long term relationship. This way he can get it whehn he wants it and she expects nothing from him.

i agree with you --- its really a silly term --- either you want to have sex with the lady and nothing more or you want to know her better in a serious relationship and the sex is part of that or not -- its not an essential part of the relationship
