The time honored method for overcoming "stage fright" is to imagine that everyone in the audience is naked... and you're the only one who is wearing clothes.

And you need to understand that this is a natural fear that even the most experienced actors experience before every appearance in front of a live audience!

Here are six things that will help you overcome this fear.
1) Know your subject very well.
2) Practice your presentation over and over again.
3) Imagine that you are in front of the audience, give your presentation, and imagine the positive reaction of the audience. Visualization of success is a powerful tool.
4) Take a deep breath and relax before you start. Being nervous ahead of time doesn't help.
5) You don't get nervous when you talk to a friend. Find a friendly face in the audience and talk to that person. Then find another friendly face and talk to that person. Keep looking at different individuals... and talk to them. Remember, you are not talking to a "group"... you are always talking to one person (25 at the same time!)
6) Just jump in and do it! When you first dive into a pool, the water feels cold... but you soon get used to it. When you start to speak to a group you feel awkward... but you soon get used to it.

first be prepared. Second take a moment before your presentation to ask the people what they want to know about the subject, or what questions they have. You then know what to concentrate on and leave your audience happy. If you don't know an answer, tell them you will see if you can find it, but in the mean time here are some considerations. Breathe and smile. Have some sort of visual so you dont forget where you are going. Finally, have the audience participate, make them active.

I have been put on every medication for this and nothing worked. I have EXTREME anxiety problems and CANNOT publically speak. There are only a few things that actually calmed me down. First off, I knew I had to get through it whether I wanted to or not, so just think, "I have to do this and I will get through it". You will also want to be farely well prepared, you dont have to memorize everything, but if you are familiar with everything then you will do fine. The last thing, and most important for myself, is I pray. I pray that God will give me the confidence and control I need to help me get through it. It'll work every time. Good luck and God Bless!

write everything you think you might say
perform in front of a mirror
record your voice and see how you sound
RELAX and look confident
I know you can do it, I believe in you.
