Yes it is the same, but English Bulldogs need to have c-sections (because they have large heads and a small pelvis). Both the mother and the puppies are worth so much, why take the risk of loosing one. The price of one puppy more than covers the cost of the surgery and if you loose one puppy it wasn't worth trying not to have a c-section.
With my dogs, I take their temperature twice a day starting one week before the approximate due date. The normal temp is 101.5 degrees Fahrenheit plus or minus a degree, and about 24 hours before they are due to whelp (give birth) their temperature will drop to under 99 degrees. When the temp drops and stays down for over an hour, call the vet because it is time to do a c-section. Good Luck!

dogs are dogs are dogs. 63 days is the usual gestation period but like other mammals and humans, babies might be born earlier or later than expected. A few days one way or the other is usually no problem. Check with your vet if she is more than a day or so past due date or sooner if she shows signs of distress or blood. Most female dogs will build a nest when the time is new. If your new jacket is on the floor, pick it up because it will make a good bed. Supply her w/a box and some old towels or newspaper. Used to breed, show, train, etc. I've whelped lots of pups. Have another box with an old towel in it large enough to hold about six pups but let mom see them before putting them in the other box. When whelping is complete, give them to the new mom and be sure all are accepted. Any questions, call a vet.

It is the same for all dogs. I have a litter of bulldogs due next Wednesday. You should NEVER let the mom try to whelp them. Their heads are so big that they will never come out. You risk losing the pups and the mom. If you know for sure she is pregnant, you should already have a c-section scheduled. Bulldogs also tend to go into labor sooner if she has a large litter because they are already so compact. My bulldog always go on day 60. You should keep a close watch of her starting on day 58.

You do realize that Bulldogs have to be birthed by a C-section, right? And that it will probably cost at least $1200? They are NOT natural whelpers and you will likely lose your ***** if you allow her to try to whelp them herself.
SCHEDULE the C-section so that you don't end up with some emergency Vet you do not know, not to mention paying BIG money for it.

Its the same no matter the breed.. However bulldogs tend to have a hard time whelping and in a lot of cases need a c-section

Yes, generally 63 days, unless your vet tells you otherwise.

It depends when you book the C-Section for. They are incapable of breeding normally.
