I found a method that works really well, although not everyone can do it.

I had a really bad cold once (REALLY BAD), actually, this was something worse than a cold but anywho....I went to the local Thai food restaurant, and I got my food made with the HOTTEST curry that they have there. And it cleared me completely for the rest of the day.

So the secret, is just to eat some really hot food, and when I say hot, I mean that it needs to atleast make you sweat a little ATLEAST, this will clear you up completely and you'll feel like a million bucks.

peace and love (and hot food),
rob

It may sound a bit gross but there is a homeopathic way to clear a stuffy nose and I do it often when it happens to me due to cold or allergies.

1 cup of warm bottled water mixed with a teaspoon of sea salt. I use a disposable plastic spoon to do the next part. Taking a spoon of the solution in one hand, close off one nostril and sniff the salted water up the other. Use half of the solution per nostril. In a few minutes, your nose will clear.

There is also a solution that is sold in the drug store or supermarket ( I forget the name but it is sold widely) that works the same way. My version is cheap if you have the things at home to do it.

Good Luck.

The faster you are on the road of recovery, the better you will feel! Drink lots of hot water (not scalding hot, of course), take vitamin C supplements, get plenty of rest and if you had a cold - try some relief medicines (sorry but this is the best I can think of).

What you have to do is to drink plenty of fluids like some clean distilled water or what i really recommend is to drink some hot peppermint tea and also green tea you can use honey to sweeten. Eat some oranges because thy have vitamin C in them or what is even better then that is to supplement on vitamin C at like 500 MG ( or whatever the bottle recommends) P.S. The reason that i say to drink a lot of fluids is because the fluids break up all of the mucus and a bunch of other stuff!

I use tea tree oil.

Get a bowl of boiling water and add about 10-15 drops of tea tree oil. Then put a towel over your head and place your face above the water and breathe in and out through your nose. It will make you cough a bit, but it will get all the gunk out.

Works for me everytime

Sudafed should work on the stuffiness if it is the stuff you have to show ID for and ask for from the pharmacist. The "new formula" crap doesn't work.

Nasal spray helps a lot too, even just saline.

For real, when I get stuffed up I eat some really spicy food, as hot as I can handle, and it totally clears out my sinuses without medicine. Indian, Mexican, just make it HOT.

long term try zinc pills. They make me better so much faster. Short term, either go put lots of horseradish sauce on something, or try boiling eccanasia in a pot with lots of water. Breath in steam. Feel better soon!
