I don't care how unhealthy it is. I just want to lose a lot of weight. Fast! Please don't give me any regular excersize and eating in moderation business. I want to lose weight. Now! Please help!

Thanks for the great advice, but I hope you read the part about not wanting a "healthy" lecture. Please don't answer this if you don't put your image before your health. I am very aware of what is healthy and what is not.

I found a diet that is used at the Mayo Clinic for quick weight loss for heart patients.

Be sure and do some exercising too. You will lose weight if you stay on the diet for the 7 days.

The Fat Burning Soup Diet
6 Large green onions
2 Green peppers
1-2 Cans - diced tomatoes, or 1-28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes
1 Bunch - Celery
1 Package - Lipton Onion Soup Mix or Chicken Soup Mix
1-2 Cubes of Bouillon, if desired
1 Head - Cabbage
Salt, Pepper, Parsley, etc. to taste

Cut Vegetables into small to medium pieces and cover with water (V-8 juice can also be used). Boil fast for ten minutes, reduce to simmer and continue cooking until vegetables are tender.

Eat as much as you want.......whenever you want.......any time of the day. This soup will not add calories. The more you eat, the more you will lose.


DAY ONE: All fruits, except bananas. Your first day will consist of all the fruit you want. Cantaloupes and watermelon are lower in calories than most fruit. Eat only your soup and fruit for the first day. For Drinks, unsweetened tea, cranberry juice and water.

DAY TWO: All vegetables. Eat until you are stuffed with all fresh, raw, or cooked vegetables of your choice. Try to eat leafy green vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas, and corn. Eat all the vegetables you want along with your soup. At Dinner, reward yourself with a big baked potato without butter. Do not eat fruit today.

DAY THREE: Mix Day One & Day Two. All the soup, fruits and vegetables you want. No Baked Potato.

DAY FOUR: Bananas and Skim Milk. Eat as many as eight Bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day, along with your soup. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates, and so is the milk, but on this particular day of the diet, your body will need potassium and carbohydrates, protein and calcium to lesson your cravings for sweets.

DAY FIVE: Beef and tomatoes. Ten to twenty ounces of beef and up to six fresh tomatoes. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water today to wash the citric acid from the body. Eat your soup at least once today.

DAY SIX: Beef and vegetables - eat to your heart's content of beef and vegetables this day. You can even have 2 or 3 steaks, if you want - with leafy green vegetables. No Baked Potato. Eat your soup at least once today.

DAY SEVEN: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables. Again, stuff, stuff, stuff yourself. Be sure to eat your soup at least once today.


At the end of the seventh day, if you have not cheated on this diet, you will have lost 10 to 17 pounds. If you have lost more than 15 pounds, then go off the diet for 2-3 days before you try it again.
The Seven Day eating plan can be used as you like. If correctly followed, it will clean your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well being as never before. After only a few days, you will begin to feel lighter and have an abundance of energy. Continue this plan as long as you wish and feel the difference.
This diet is a fast fat burning diet, and the secret is that you will burn more calories than you take in. It will flush your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well-being. This diet does not lend itself to drinking alcoholic beverages at any time, because of the removal of fat buildup in your system. Go off the diet at least 24 hours, before any intake of alcohol.
Because everyone's digestive system is different, this diet will affect everyone differently. After day three, you will have more energy than when you began, if you do not cheat. If, after being on the diet for several days you find your bowel movements have changed, eat a cup of bran and fiber. Although you can have black coffee with this diet, you may find you won't need the caffeine after the third day.


DEFINITE NO-NO'S


No Bread, Alcoholic Beverages, Carbonated Beverages (not even diet). Stick with water, unsweetened tea, black coffee and unsweetened fruit juice, cranberry juice and skim milk on the day it is allowed. NO Fried foods.
You may eat broiled or baked chicken, instead of beef (absolutely no skin on the chicken). If you prefer, you can substitute broiled fish for the beef only one of the beef days. You will need the protein in the beef the other day.

The Basic Fat Burning Soup can be eaten at any time you feel hungry during the day, and you can eat as much as you wish, as often as you like. This soup will not add calories. The more you eat, the more you lose.

Any prescribed medications will not hurt you on this diet. Continue this plan as long as you wish, and feel the difference both in mental and physical disposition. This diet is used for overweight heart patients who need to lose weight rapidly, before surgery.

FIBER CEREAL WITH SKIM MILK, small amount any time.


A GREAT SUGGESTION FROM A READER: If you don't care for the milk by itself, she suggested adding the banana with the milk and blend in a blender to make your own shake! Sounds like a great idea!

Follow the Atkins diet. Don't forget to take the vitamins!!! Eat fish. Don't eat a high fat diet. Eat a high protein diet and get rid of the simple carbs like bread, potatoes, cookies, cake, ice cream, all junk food. Try to eat your vegetables raw or cooked very little. Go to the pharmacy and buy some ketoses sticks to pee on so you can check and make sure you are in ketoses. You will lose about 2 ¼ lbs a week without exercising.

Now if you walk you will lose more. No fruit in your diet. If you are going to school and studying chew sugar free gum. Make sure you eat a high protein breakfast. No milk no cereal. Stay warm, you will not have the carbs that will generate the heat to keep you warm so keep a sweater on so you don't want to eat comfort foods. Drink lots of water because that is how your body gets rid of the fat you will be losing. It will take at least 21 days for your body and brain to get use to the diet so don't give up. This will NOT work if you are not taking the vitamins. Mulit Vita. and an Omega 3. VERY IMPORTANT OR YOU COULD GET SICK.

Get the book and read. You will lose the weight. Walk. Don't sit in front of the TV all the time, try to change some of your habits. Rake the leaves in the yard. Move around more. Once you are into the diet remember it is very dangerous to go off the diet all of sudden and eat carbs you can get so sick that you will have to be hospitalized!! The only way you can re-introduce carbs back into your daily diet is 20 grams of carbs at a time. Or you can get real sick! ! ! ! Be careful. Good Luck. It works. If you really want to lose weight. I lose three pounds this week by changing my workout. I started working out like a guy. I hit the weight first and spend most of my gym time in weight room. I workout every inch of muscle and then i go walk/run on treadmill for 15 - 30 mintues. No change to my diet.

How much do you have to lose? If its a lot, youll end up flabby, with extra skin.

Most people who lose weight quickly gain it back and them some.

If you only have 5lbs to lose you can go on a veggie and tuna diet for two days. If you want to lose more than that, you are really out of luck. Crash diets are called CRASH diets for a reason. Youll only go spiraling downwards after, and I dont mean on the scale.

I understand your pain. I am also getting married soon. However, there is one underlying concept to losing weight. Burn more calories than you eat. All the diets in the world just mentally use you and guide you in their own direction. At the end of the day, it all comes down to one question--Did you burn more calories than you ate?

So, if you do that, you will lose wieght. I would not recommend not eating or being unhealthy, it will catch up with you. Just eat less...and drink loads of water.

Eat as little as you can without feeling faint. Your gonna feel a little faint anyways.. .but you dont wanna pass out. So my deal is I have a soy protein shake in the morning (like 200 cal) which is really energizing but is very low cal/fat. Then if I totally can't stand the hunger pains I have an apple in the afternoon. Then if you have the energy (try caffeine pills) do some cardio exercise. Drink lots of water.

Eat proteins and raw veggies only and drink water. Not for long term, but you will lose weight, long term is ok if you add a little more variety to it.

look for a weight loss doctor in your area....they usually prescribe the latest weight-loss drug. You still have to put some effort into it and make healthy choices about food....and learn from it....because if you stop taking the pills and didnt learn to eat....You'll GAIN DOUBLE what you lost. I currently use phentermine and I have been very successful.

You do know that the unhealthy methods are unhealthy for a reason, and you will always gain the weight back. It is worth your time to do it the healthy way so you can keep the weight off...

I prefer both fruits and fruit and vegetables better, regardless how they look and taste. You desire a little of both.
