I use Adobe (great editing software!) and when i burn a dvd it says export completed but then i put it in a dvd player and it wont work? does anyone know how to solve this problem? is it because ive used a DVD+RW instead of a DVD-R? and should i turn things like spy sweeper and Norton Security off while buring?

DVD-R or RW does not matter, neither Sweeper or Norton matter. what are u trying to burn? Adobe is a photo editing software. if u want to burn a dvd than use Nero. let me know if u need help

i know possibly whats happening. you may be burning it to the wrong format such as AVI or WMV. no good ..unless you purchase( and htis is always good) a new type of dvd player that playes multiple formats of burned disks . get one that says it plays DIVX and you should have no further problems. back this up by being sure that it even plays at all. such *** in your computer on windows media player or DIVX player wich is free or even POwer dvd.

Could be, could also be the player you are putting it in is too old and wont recognize the format! There are only about 12 different DVD formats these days!

will it play on your computer? or your home dvd player? or neither? dvd+rw isn't the problem.
