Wait til you two are alone together because a lot of guys don't like to kiss in public. Don't tell him. Just do it.
When you are looking at each other and are sitting really close, lean over and kiss him on the cheek. Then he will know that you don't mind being that close to him.

well, when me and my guy are alone together, and he wants to kiss, he'll just go for it. but for you, i would say, to just if he doesn't make the first move, then you should. when me and my guy are cuddling, i'll whisper softly to him, and scoot up, so that i'm looking into his eyes, and then just lean in, and kiss him. gently at first, then do it a little harder. but for ya'll start gentle. or you could say, "Kiss me?".
i went to visit him on Dec. 22, and we were making out, and he asked me what i wanted to do, and i answered him with a kiss. i just looked into his eyes, and went and kissed him. it took me awhile to do that, but now when i do that, he gets the picture. when i kiss him, he knows that i want to kiss and do more than that.

dont tell him. that could definately make things kind of awkward. just let it happen. either you or him s hould make the move! and if nothing has happened in the last month, maybe he doesnt like you more than a friend, but he was curious. either friendship is good.

If you like him, and he likes you. Just kiss him, he won't complain. Trust me, I have had pretty, fat, ugly, and weird ones kiss me. And, I never complained. It just feels too good. When the lips tingle from the sensation, sorry, getting off track.
