He is a Christian ....but is it possible that this person is a distraction, or should I continue to carry on this relationship? I like him very much we are very compatible, and have the same goals and desires in mind, And I can see myself loving him, but there is this slight feeling that something isn't right about it.... what do you think?

Yes, pray for guidance. Keep in mind that when something doesn't feel right, there is usually a reason it doesn't feel right. 99.99 out of 100 times your "gut" is correct.

You have the same goals, desires, beliefs, you are compatible...it sounds better than most marriage relationships to me...

p.s. you said you were compatible, so I made the assumption that you were Christian as well. Sorry in advance if i am wrong.

That is the Holy Spirit caution you. DO-NT further the relationship unless you seek Gods guidance and will.

You will have total peace if it is the right person listen to that still small voice and be open to Gods leading. If more people were are discerning as you are being there would be a lot less misery in marriage and a lot less divorce even amongst Christan's.

Pray and fast and read Gods word and I will be praying for you.

You must always trust your first instincts. This is a wonderful gift God gives us all. Its a survival instinct and should be in use everyday.

You may love this person very much, and he may be right for you in every way, but will he be right for you in the eyes of God.

Talk to God about him. That's why God is there. He want nothing but the best for His children. He only wants to be part of the family.

That is the best advise I can give you.><>

Your decision shouldn't be based on what anyone thinks, except for God the Father. If you have a doubt ask HIM and he will lead you to where HE wants you. Lean not on your own understanding (our understanding of anything is carnal) but instead rely on HIM to fulfill your every desire and need.

God Bless You

Find out his beliefs regarding the entire Bible. Prayer to God for guidance. A tree is known by the fruit that it bears, the same applies here.

Well its kind of hard to explain, but I'll do my best. Why do people dress up to go to church? Didn't Jesus say in the Bible to come as you are? It's like this Jesus and Satan are two totally individuals, Jesus loves us, Satan hates us. They both knows our hearts. Jesus wore his cloak, Satan was very dressy. Jesus gave us free will, Satan don't like that. The people that follows Jesus, Satan will temp them in any way he can. What I'm trying to say is, when you talk to this person, talk about Jesus, and watch this person very carefully to his response. I've noticed before when I talk to people about Jesus, their spirit comes alive with joy, and excitement. Just keep in mind that Satan can throw things your way just to temp you and your faith toward Jesus. Then when all is done, go to a quiet place and ask Jesus what would he do? Then in time you will know, just follow your heart and keep the faith in Jesus! Good luck!!

It is best to ask God. I did face the same situation and its amazing how Almighty God revealed the answers. Of course, even though He disapproved the person I was praying for... its amazing how God will reply if you ask Him with your heart, and if you walk in His ways.
What an amazing God!

Go with your instincts.... If you are of The True Christian Faith and He is not there should be distinct differences... you alradyknow, if you are of The Faith, that you can not be unequaly yoked to a non-believer...Here is a link to a page on my site that might help. http://mikevanauken.pages.web.com/outreach/id67.html

Pardon me, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I suppose you are not Christian? I would not recommend it, unless you became a Christian yourself, or unless he was one no longer. For if you have different religions, under what faith would you raise your children?
