It really depends on the person, but I think that it's an okay wine. If the person you're giving it to likes white wine, then it's a good gift.

Oh my god NO!!! It is an awfyl wine. A better one that most people klnow of and is under $10 in Beaujolais Jadot. It is a nice red. I've worked in resturants and Fetzer is usually the house wine because it is so cheap.

I think that is a white / dry / sweet wine.
I would think any wine would be fabulous. At least you thought of something to bring!

I take it you really dont know what these people like in wine so it is ok. I like to think women enjoy a little of sweet kind of wine.

yes and the fact that you are taking a vintage means its quality.... this particular wine is sweeter than most... great for appetizers or jsut sipping not necessary to sit down with dinner... but not a dessert wine

Gewurztraminer is very sweet, so if you will be drinking it with dessert or ..hors d'oeuvres
